These bowls appear to be well made. Love that they are US made. They are smallish, but they are still usable for things like fruit salad, a small bowl of chips (you know, when you're trying to avoid eating too many!), serving bowl for chopped herbs or other smaller item, etc.

I bought this bowl to use outdoors to put water in for the squirrels that visit our yard. I wanted something that was solid and stable - that wouldn't be easy for a squirrel to knock over or push around. This turned out to be perfect. It rests on top of our fence which has about a 4 inch ledge. It holds a good amount of liquid and isn't easy to tip over. I know you're probably not reading this because you're looking for a water bowl for squirrels but they love it. When it gets really hot here, they even lay across it to get cool.Having, said that: You can't go wrong with Fiesta dinnerware for great color and durability.

I guess I am becoming infatuated with Fiestaware because I am ordering the different size bowls as I come across them. This one is a beautiful blue and adds such color to my kitchen. I recommend to everyone! They will make you smile when you open your box just delivered and see the colors. Fun! Fun!

I own quite a few Fiestaware colors, and Lapis is one of my favorite colors. The blue in real life is a little less turquoise than my monitor shows. Lapis is a cool blue color--definitely "summer" if you know Color Me Beautiful. The cereal bowl size is also PERFECT. I find the bowls that come with a set of Fiestaware to be too big (I end up eating more than I should), but this smaller size is just what I need to control my portions. The only drawback is that it is taller than the normal bowls, which are bulkier than other dishes, and so these cereal bowls do not fit in my dishwasher very well at all. But, I love them so much that I don't mind hand washing them when needed.

We've been using FiestaWare plates & bowls for several years. One of our smaller bowls broke recently and also with 5 kids and only 8 bowls, we tended to run out if everyone used a bowl for porridge at breakfast or something like that. I tried to find the bowls we have and it would appear that the shape/style has changed. We have three of this shape (two in lapis, one in shamrock) and I think I like it better than the old shape. It does mean our mix & match colours at the table is a little more mixed up with two different styles of smaller bowl but that's fine. We chose FiestaWare because it really has stood up for some rough treatment by the kids and because it's made in the USA. We have about 8 each of small plates & bowls and 12 large plates and 8 or 10 larger bowls and in all the shipping of these dishes (5 yrs ago) we only had to send one back for being broken en route to us. They were carefully/well packed and most of the FiestaWare dishes that we ordered were Prime so not a lot of waiting for them to get here.
