I bought this one despite the price; since I "cheaped-out" on my last one and paid for it in other ways. The cheap one I bought last time (I actually bought 2 of the cheap versions and literally the wood broke on both) This one appears to be made with much higher quality wood (big factor) and the hardware seems to be high quality. So far I am very pleased and I believe this will hold up to my expectations. Some things in life you can go "cheap", I don't think this is one of those areas in life you can unless your chair is purely ornamental in purpose.
