Overall, this is a great vest. I wear it a lot. I did take off one star. FOR THE PRICE: it’s very thin, there’s no liner, and there’s no inner pocket. For $180 I was expecting some thickness. But even with those flaws I enjoy wearing it. Great to wear on a cool day, but not a cold day without some layering. The quality of the stitching is top notch. Size is perfect. I wear a large in shirts and the large fir perfectly.

Fits perfectly. Well made.Historical product brand for a reason. They are expensive but with it. Filson lasts forever. Had other Filson products - same outcome.You pay more to get it but you’ll be glad.

I have been going over whether to buy one of these for months. I am very happy I did. I will be wearing this alot over the next few months. I like the chest warmth with out the extra weight on my arms. This is a good solid wool which I feel with worth the money paid. I am glad I took the time to do the research.

I was on the fence regarding size. Ordered a small because I expected Filson to run a little large. Fit is perfect, can still wear over a flannel shirt comfortable. Timeless style.

The size chart is spot on. I'm 5'11" - 210 lbs and wear a 44. This couldn't fit any better for my usually warm climate and the thin shirts I tend to wear. I would have gone up to an XL if I planned on multiple layering under or like a thick Carhart type shirt. The vest is clearly well made and seems like it will last a long time.

Love this vest. Keeps me warm and toasty under a coat in freezing temperatures and wind. (I live in New England.) When I wear it in a restaurant, at a concert, or in a theater, it's a bit more dressy than a fleece vest and it keeps me comfortable - neither too warm nor too cold. I highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful vest! I’ve always enjoyed wool garments.It’s very warm especially with movement and looks really sharp. I’ve received several positive comments regarding the look.I’m 6’, 210#. Large fits, with this vest I went with XL to better layer my garments in the winter. This is perfect, loose enough to wear 2 shirts underneath without being too loose with one shirt.
