And take note of the ACTUAL size of the filter, not just what's on the box.Our usual source for these very good filters was out of stock and I purchased these for a slightly higher price on Amazon and went by the listed measurements and the photo of the box matching what we have purchased in the past.What I didn't realize that there is a difference in sizes despite it being listed as 20x25x4. Slim fit is just that... and ALL of the dimensions are smaller than what is listed on the box and the filter does not fit snuggly in our furnace. We need the original, traditional filters, which BTW are also slightly smaller than the 20x25x4 listed on the box (both types).These Filtrete filters are excellent and we have used them in multiple homes. I take full responsibility for not realizing that these are "slim fit" which it is clearly stated in the description. But I've taken a star off because I think the description and information should emphasize the fact that these are not the standard size for a 20x25x4 filter required system.Unfortunately I purchased these filters when we put our last spare one in and didn't discover the issue until yesterday -- well past the return date. We're stuck with filters that do not fit properly and all of our neighbors in the community have the same HVAC system as we do. We'll donate the filters to our local Habitat For Humanity store or a local resale charity. I've ordered the same filter in the standard configuration AND put it on a subscription so we won't make this mistake again. The good thing is getting the notice that our subscription is coming up is also a good reminder to change our filter.

I was using another brand that worked well but were double the cost and tough to remove. These are a bit narrower and are easier to install and remove. Time will tell how well they hold up but so far so good.

This is skipped quickly and had made filter changes a piece of cake. Hard to find this slimline filter in the stores.

They are filters, so there is not much to say about them but they work and price is right. I have a subscription set up for every six months so I know when to swap them up. They fit perfectly in my ac unit and the build is great. I try to break them down and they built so well it is challenge. The packaging is great and I have never received a damage filter.

Theses are what fit my air handler but did not notice that they are slim fit I’ll use them this time but have to watch what I’m ordering next time don’t want slim fit
