This "softener". didn't soften my FIMO one little bit. Not worth returning - I just threw it away, along with my FIMO.

it supposed to soften the clay but it is itself very hard to control how i am supposed do add it to the hard clay

For some reason I had several pounds of clay (Fimo soft) go hard as a rock. My hands get sore from kneading clay too much so trying to knead rocks wasn’t working. I decided to try this and OMG! It is amazing! What’s great is you only need a tiny bit. If you use to much, your clay gets too soft.

This stuff really works, & lasts a long time. I had a big block that lasted about 5 years! You don’t need much to make old hard clay come back to life. Even dry, crumbly clay that won’t even stick together anymore, becomes usable. It takes a LOT of kneading, though, to get there, so be patient. If you use too much, it will get too soft & sticky. I haven’t really measured, but I think I start with 3 parts clay to 1 part conditioner. Just enough to fit in your palm so you’re not dropping bits everywhere. Once you get most of the lumps mixed through & there aren’t any big, hard hunks, you can start running it through a pasta roller on the thickest setting. After 10-15x, it will look pretty good!

This is an AMAZING product! I mix small amounts into harder/dried out polymer clay. It does not change the color and brings it back to a workable state. This is a NEED for polymer clay artists.

This stuff is amazing and hard to find. I had pounds of Polymer clay that are old and needed reconstituting. This is the only thing that works..

余ったFIMOをずっと保管しているとカッチカチになってしまいこねることができなくなってしまいます。そんな時にはこのミックスクイックです。 最初はあまり馴染みませんが、根気よく練り続けると少しずつ柔らかさが出てきて、しっかりと造形できるようになります。混ぜる量によっては色味に変化が出ます。少量ずつ練る場合、混合率を覚えておいた方がいいかもしれません。また、このミックスクイックだけで成形して焼くと、独特な白い半透明感のある造形ができます。 レトロなガラスを思わせる風味というか、溶けかかったろうそくのような色味になりますので面白いです。

the clay was fresh and in great condition. helped my sculpting to become more flexible and less brittle after cureing. i used it with sculpey beige. one part mix quick to 4 parts sculpey worked ok for me.
