These mittens are totally reflective and perfectly warm and comfortable. I prefer these over the much more expensive North Face gloves I have. Warm even in 10 degree weather.

I love these and I typically hate mittens. We hike every morning and my hands were getting cold on some of the colder days. I have a pair of gloves that are thin enough that you can function with them on, but they don't keep you warm under about 34 degrees or so. I bought a pair of carhartt gloves. They are long and have an extra sleeve inside them to keep the snow out. Once I put these on and got my coat on, it was impossible to take them off and get them back on if I needed to do something that required any dexterity. They gave me ridiculously fat and useless sausage fingers. At that point you might as well be wearing mittens. Also, when it got into the high mid twenties my hands were still cold... not too happy. I ordered these because they don't have a big long sleeve on them and because they are filled with real down. Nothing is warmer than down! It is the under layer of feathers that puff up to keep birds warm. Because of the structure of the down feathers, they puff up and hold a lot of air between them. These air pockets are warmed by your body heat creating a great insulating layer and down is extremely light weight. It is great for bedding too. I can pull these off if I need to use my fingers and pop them right back on. My coat has an extra sleeve in it already so I didn't want the sleeve in the mitten. With all your fingers in the mitten together, they stay nice and warm. My thumbs were a little cooler, but still plenty warm enough. The like today was 24° and I was perfectly comfortable. Also the fabric is kind of fun. It is a silvery gray with very subtle little sparkles in it, but it reflects the light. Also, it turns shiny when you get moisture on it as it shows in their video. I am very happy with my purchase. I will get years of use out of them.

My wife loves these mittens. They are extremely reflective, which is what she wanted them for. They are quite nice looking as well, and she finds them warm enough for general purpose. I wouldn’t say they are for proper cold weather wear, but they are comfortable and as I said before, very reflective.

These mittens were almost everything I wanted. I loved the color and my hands fit perfectly inside BUT I needed mittens that would keep the cold out and the elastic around the wrist wasn’t tight enough for me. I have thin wrists so if your wrists are a little bigger you might love these.!

I was dubious that these inexpensive mittens would keep my hands warm, but they're the warmest mittens I've found, and I like the silvery, water-resistant fabric. They're lined with a soft fabric inside, which probably adds a little extra warmth in addition to the down. I think these are really good value for the money--other down mittens I looked at ranged from around $40-$150. I'm very pleased with them.My only gripe is that they come in a very fancy gift box, which is an awful lot of packaging. If you're giving these as a gift, the box is a nice touch. If not, it seems a little excessive.

My hands are always cold due to Raynauds. These mittens keep my hands very warm. I had tried many different brands over the years, including heated mittens. These work better than any others that I have purchased.
