This is a heavy duty bracket and mount for a large extinguisher. The one the extinguisher came with had a metal piece that snapped back when removing it, which could be a big hazard, and this one has a strap. The only thing is that the little piece that holds the pin in place snapped off very easily, which means the pin is just resting in the hole. Ours is out of the way in the garage though so the only time we'd move it is if there was a fire and we won't want the pin to be hard to pull out!

My CO2 canister has taken more than one fall off of my kegerator so this bracket will come in handy. It is a perfect fit for the 5lb CO2 canister many kegerator's use. It has two straps with cinching buckles to hold it securely. The bracket cradles the canister from the sides and the bottom. There is a rubber spacer to go between the bottle and the bracket on the. The bracket can be secured using screws through the two holes in the vertical section of the bracket. The canister is held slight off the wall to allow clearance of an valves or gauges you want to attach. Well constructed and perfectly suited for my off label purpose!

Having been victims of a fire that destroyed our travel trailer, we felt our new motorhome(a bus conversion) required more protection in case of a fire. This mounted nicely on the outside of our dog-nosed bus at a decent height to allow for removal. I hope I only need to remove the extinguisher for yearly maintenance.

Good bracket to hold fire extinguisher. I could not figure out how to connect the ends of the metal that wraps around the extinguisher and there were no instruction provided and so I had to jerry rig it some what till my friend was able to help me see where the webbing goes a certain way and the metal goes a certain way. All in all a grood find.

Easy to install using the enclosed screw and anchor hardware. The bottom of the mount has a lip that prevents the extinguisher tank from slipping out from the straps. The width of the bottom is 5.5" so any tank with a diameter less than 5.5" can fit in the tray. The 5lb Amerex B402T that I have has a diameter of 4.25". I'm sure most 10lb extinguishers would fit on this bracket as well. The diameter of the tank is the limiting factor. The unit has two straps with compression clips which is good if the extinguisher is being used in a mobile environment (vehicle or boat). It takes about 15 seconds or so to fiddle with clips and straps to remove the extinguisher - valuable time lost - especially if you're unfamiliar with this type of clip, and you are in a panic mode. For a stationary environment, I would prefer the mount with a single metal strap and hook mechanism that is available for most fire extinguishers - which allows the extinguisher to be unstrapped and lifted off the hook in a couple of seconds. But the latter wouldn't be as secure as this mount is.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this Fire Extinguisher bracket. In the past, my experience with similar brackets has not been good. Most of them are okay at best being rather flimsy and with brackets that are less than really secure. This is definitely not the case with this one.I mounted the bracket in just a few minutes. The fire extinguisher is mounted easily and is very securely fastened. Yet, it is very easy to remove quickly. This bracket was mounted in my RV, so it must be a secure mount that can withstand heavy wall movement. Every time you go down the road, it is like having the camper go through an earthquake. After mounting this one and pulling firmly on it from different directions, I have no doubt that this mount will safely and securely hold my fire extinguisher.

I have fire extinguisher in my house. I used to put it on the floor in my pantry. I have been knock out it many time until I found this product. I love this design and easy to hang fire extinguisher on the wall now. It keeps it out of way and out of children reach. Much have if you have fire extinguisher.
