Purchased two of these for handgun use, mainly to have IR option for NVGs. Fit is fine and I bore-sighted to 20 yards. G2G. As others have stated, hard to find a value this great for an IR capable light. No, I would not use this on an AR platform, handgun only.

There's annoying green stray light artifacts to lower right of laser dot...Basically a green flashlight with a green dot.

The ir and green laser broke after the first shots on my AR. Im not sure its rated to handle .223 but whatever you do dont get this for a rifle! Its as if something broke internally after shooting and the laser dots became extremely large and un useful. Im upset i missed the date to return it.

Very affordable and durable tactical gun light. Not too heavy so goes great with a pistol though I mounted it on a rifle. Had no issues with it so far except you'll want to get some rechargeable batteries for it. The battery that comes with it didn't last very long. You won't find lights with an IR laser for much cheaper than this
