This drone was a 2nd one we ordered for our kids as my 6 year old got one for Christmas, and younger brother wanted one as well. I didn't notice that this drone isn't really marketed for kids, especially younger ones, and is more of a teenage or young adult drone. Maybe I misread or overlooked something when I selected it on vine, but hes definitely going to have to grow into it or have assistance while using it. It comes with fun stickers you apply to make it look like the character is represents. I'm not familiar with the Firefly Fox character, but it's supposed to be a model of her aircraft. The directions are pretty straight forward and easy to understand. I wasn't very prepared for how powerful the drone was. Im used to operating the one my 6 year old had and this one is much more lightweight and literally takes flight into the air very quickly. It will take some getting used to, as the instruction booklet recommends that you take some time practicing lifting off before you go for a long ride. I would recommend this drone for older kids and teenagers who have experience using drones, or are capable of picking up the technique required to do so. Smaller kids, like under 10 should probably pick a different model.ALSO, its also grossly overpriced in my opinion. At $87, its definitely more of a $40/$50 model in terms of construction. My kids and I use'd it all of a few minutes and needed/wanted to land it quickly as the directions tell you to do. There is one button that helps you land it immediately. It landed on a pillow on our couch and ever since then hasn't wanted to pair again with the control. I'm going to attempt to figure out whats going on but after only one flight experience for it to be having issues isn't stellar. I read the directions, went through the pairing instructions several times, removed the battery pack and put it back in, etc. I dont believe it's issue is being caused by some error on my part, but if it is/was and I figure it out, I'll come back to the review and share that. As I stated, I've operated other drones that were easier to use, made from more sturdy/weighted material, and weren't as expensive. I personally wouldn't repurchase this drone for several reasons, mainly because it isn't age appropriate for my child, and two the price, especially given other options on the market. This seems like a niche product. LIke, if you are familiar with the brand, characters and storyline behind them, the drone may hold some sentimental value that makes the price more appropriate.

Dron arrived on time as expected. Bought it for my kid as his first dron so he can learn to fly them. It’s really light so you need to use it indoors. It has a rechargeable battery and need to buy 3 AAA batteries for the control.

My favorite toy is so funny, so is my son. It's so funny that we scramble to play. Although it's small, it can fly very high.

This mini drone is amazing! My 12-year-old picked it up quickly and loves the 360° flips and headless mode. It’s super stable with altitude hold, and the multiple-speed options are great for beginners. The long flight time is impressive too. Perfect for indoor play and a great gift idea. Highly recommended!
