This is good way to break some bones. With a powerful drill, it’ll split wood. But you need a serious setup to keep the wood from spinning, or the drill from breaking your wrist . I recommend you pass on it.

It drills about an inch into the log and then whammy, your stuck... can't back the but out because it unscrews from the base lol .. straight garbage

I think it might be a good idea to advertise what kinds of wood the drill head will not split.

It doesn't work. It will break your wrist first. I tried it on hard and soft wood.

I took this camping asking with my fully charged 18v cordless drill. I tried it on multiple (small) pieces of wood to make kindling. It didn't split any of it, no matter how small a piece I was trying to break off. I went back to my hatchet and had no issues. I'll be returning it.
