The size is just right for a child or teenager, making it a wonderful cuddle blanket for the couch. I chose this for a boy, but honestly, the black color is so neutral it would work equally well for a girl. Blanket is very soft and cozy. My son loves it. The material shed a bit when first opened but once washed it was fine. There was a slight chemical order upon opening the package but again, another issue resolved with a run through the washing machine.

I enjoy reading in the neighborhood park and laying on this is much more comfortable than a park bench. Now a pack a snack and may of it on the weekend.
