This is a nice toy, I bought the older version for my first son and he loved it so I bought the newer version for my younger son. This is advertised as a smart connect device but can no longer be used with ANY app. It’s trash that they can get away with selling a “smart” toy that has in no way any functionality besides on and off. Do not wast your money, buy the older version, they both work nearly the same.

Seahorse is heavier than expected.The lights aren't as vibrant as the photos show, but still very cute for littles.Haven't figured out the advanced features, just enjoying it as is.Would be nice if it had a different default track to startOverall though it is nice.Haven't had to wash yet, so praying it washes well and keeps it shape and comfort

I bought two - one for each of my two baby boys and they really enjoy them. The glowing light and soft music are very comforting. You can choose either 10 or 20 minutes of play time, which is great. The only complaint I have is the connectivity with the app, which does work but you have to close and restart the app several times in order to refresh and actually connect - very frustrating when you are trying to rush to turn it on remotely from another room, to comfort a crying baby in the middle of the night. Wish they could improve on the connectivity aspect.

This toy saved my son’s sleeping routine. He had troubles sleeping in his crib and now he won’t go to bed without it. He cuddles it from the moment he falls asleep to the moment we wakes up. Some of my favorite memories are laying him down and watching him grab it and pull it close to him💙 he had the original one but would get nose bleeds so we decided to buy a second so he wouldn’t have to go without during a cleaning and this one is so much better. The color changing, the song options. I’d buy every single one if they had more of a collection

So I just got my very own seahorse for my baby, expected in May.However, the reason I bought this is my nephew has one. The volume is just perfect, not so obnoxious as to keep everyone up and the sound quality is better than a lot of my big ticket items I have (bassinet, bouncer, etc.). The song selection isn't half bad either. He loves it still (has had it a few years) to use as a nightlight when he wakes up in the middle of the night. I would have taken his had he not still used it and it wasn't quite so loved (it's probably about time to replace).What I didn't know was it can connect to an app to customize. (I don't think my nephew's can.) Mind blown. Did not read the item description before purchasing because I thought I was getting the exact one my nephew has.

My son always struggled with sleep and self soothing. We got this and he really found comfort in it. From 6 months to 2 and half he loved it. I didn’t realize it had a Bluetooth option but was frustrated by how quickly is started to go through batteries. After two years it died and I bought another similar one to my sons horror. He did not like the replacement. Found this one again and now that I sleep better too realized it had blue tooth capability. Neat feature but not necessary. He loves it either way. I do like that the app allows you to set light brightness and sound as well as color options. Of all the seahorse like toys this is the best! Wish it didn’t need four batteries.

I'm a German toy collector and own the regular seahorse and the mobile. When I heard about the upgrade I thought it was worth a try which turned out to be quiet difficult because it couldn't be shipped internationally for a while. But finally I was able to order it and I couldn't be more sattisfied.First of all, the music is slow and relaxing. Some of the older model's tunes have been taken over and newly interpreted. The other melodies are new or unknown to me. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the app since it's not available in my country which doesn't bother me at all. I'm happy with the preloaded songs.The only downside is that this seahorse isn't as plushy as the older one and that Fisher Price removed the bubble sounds. Maybe they can be found in the app?Overall, I'm giving five stars for this product.
