This is a cute little chair for toddlers! It does require a bit of assembly but only takes about 5 minutes to unbox and attach all the parts. Once it is set up it is not coming back apart to store so plan on having it out and taking up space once assembled. The plastic pieces all snap into each other and lock into place.Chair comes with batteries all ready installed although it is recommended to install new fresh batteries. It also comes with 2 extra screws for the battery compartment, which I thought was nice in case the original one gets lost.The seat of this chair is pressurized. That means when your child applies their weight to the chair or sits down, the chair will play music or talk depending on which setting it is on. Besides the chair pressurized part your child can also flip the pages of the small plastic book which will also read you the very short stories or play songs depending on the setting. In addition there is also a box of plastic crayons that also sing or say words depending on which setting. The last piece that lights up and makes noise is a large mushroom.It’s a neat concept and my 1 year old granddaughter seems to like it. I think it is a little too simple and had more of an educational value to it for the price point. It does seem a little pricey considering it’s just a plastic chair that plays noises and there is not a wholelot of educational interaction with opportunities for learning. I appreciate the volume switch on the bottom that allows the volume of this toy from becoming to overwhelming for the adults around.

Cute chair. Not the easiest to put together. Once it is the kids had fun with it. Once it was together it stayed that way. But the seat connecting to the electronic part posed a problem. Seems well made otherwise.
