This line spooler works great for standard spools and bulk spools up to 4" or so. The stem won't be long enough to handle the very large bulk spools that I like to use for my salt water reels. It's easily adjustable and gives you many angles. I really like being able to load my spools by myself. The unit works smoothly and is very convenient. There are times when this spooler will be used several times per week as I load line for the kids, grandkids, and friends. I'm able to get just the tension I like so for me I'm really glad I got this unit. My only wish for this spooler would be to increase the length of the arm the spool sits on by another 2". Then it would handle all my needs.
