I purchased this jacket a year ago for my husband. AMAZING. Truly. It is light, comfortable, packs well and warm! Like really warm. My husband is a hockey coach and uses this jacket when he is behind the bench. He has coached hockey in the Northern parts of Canada, including the Yukon. This jacket has seen COLD (-30) and worked perfectly! Now granted, he was in and out of the truck so don’t get all excited and use this all day in the cold. I’m just saying,.. it’s warm. Also, a year in and it still looks great, has held the color and form perfectly! I cannot believe how much I paid for this and what I got out of it! Just buy it!

My teenage son loves the lightweight jacket, very warm & can stuff into his backpack at school. He has one in gray & asked for a second one in black when we accidentally left our coats in grandma’s closet in Florida in December!

True to advertised size and not too heavy. The hood detaches where many don’t. It’s a nice shape, not baggy, easy to wear and I love the color. Living in northeast Florida we do get some really cold snaps in the winter so you need something light but warm which this is.

I bought the recommended size but it is massive, and there is almost no stuffing in the arms.

I've had this for almost two years now, and it's holding up really well. All the zippers and stitching are good, and I see no obvious signs of wear. It's not as warm as genuine down jackets I've owned, but with sweaters and occasional use of thermal long underwear, it got me through the past winter in New York City just fine.Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket. It packs small for travel, and it's good for autumn, winter and spring.

The jacket is comfortable and fairly warm. It fits well. The only problem is the hood which fits very loosely and tends to get blown off by even mild gust of wind.

The jacket fits quite well all around. I like that the hood can detach if you want. The jacket is warm on normal cooler days but I wore it in the mountains when it was 24° at night and it didn’t seem to be as warm as my older puffy jackets. The jacket is fairly packable for multi day backpacking trips. The material is a bit thin for the inner pockets and I worry they could rip or tear apart easily if something heavier than a cell phone were to be put in there.

It works, size large was perfect, true to size! Length is good, it’s not super warm, but that’s what we need, a simple light jacket for fall and spring everyday use.

This is a really great jacket that's lightweight and form-fitting without being tight (on me, anyway). The zip pockets are great, and the chest pocket is a plus that I've decided I want on any jacket I buy from now on. I also love that this has a removable hood--although it's a little odd that there are 7 snap points on the jacket, but only 5 snaps on the hood.My only issue is that the two side hand pockets, while warm on the side with the insulation (back of your hand), are not terribly warm on the "body side" (palm of your hand), because there's no insulation sewn in on that side. In fact, the palm-side of the pockets is actually rather cool to the touch if there's a breeze. You'd think that this is a fairly important feature to have overlooked in a jacket (it kinda is), but it's not a deal-breaker to me, because I love the jacket in every other way. I may try to figure out a DIY way to insulate the palm-side of the pockets.

While I haven't worn it enough to see how it wears, I was pleasantly surprised by all the extras and features this coat has, as compared to coats costing 1.5 to 3X its price. Definitely 5 stars overall based on what it has going for it at the price. The PLUSSES:- quite well made... no hanging threads, seams are tight and well matched, durable wind-blocking fabric.- color - a very pleasant shade of teal that looks good with jeans, khakis, and most slacks.- cell phone pocket zips from front RH side enables , large enough for larger smart phones- three inside pockets large enough from gloves, scarf, and other items.- waist expands a bit because of included drawstring; can tighten to fit more snugly.- detachable hood can be rolled to fit in a snap-enabled channel under the collar.- pockets overall are deep and seem sturdy enough to hold items securely. The MINUSES:- the zippers seem a bit light duty to me, especially the side pockets... don't know how they'll hold up.- hood lacks a drawstring, though my genius wife will sew a drawstring channel in the hood to add one.
