So, it's a reflectionie reflective type glassish materiel n there's no "real" or "right" way to "install" ot after "smashing a doe's hed wit my favorite friggin card stupid friggin deer, I SWEAR!" Anyhoos, I used some mid-grade glue-o-de-supadupah n held it there, in the snowy 19° evening, here in mitch-shigan, with my gun-el-de-heat ah blowin towards its general direction...of course, the high fulutin' Deutsche engineering behind me heated mirrors also needed Das gluing', so I got all the cogs n rails n bungs n doodabbers all lined up n then after aboot 20 min er so, everything was stationary, so i walked away and carried on wit me loife, hed held high as I kin sling it, knowing that I, overcame deers n Germans n Chinese crappy ticky-tacky n googlue, to observe objects that may be somewhat closer than they appear, to not hinder my safetie and become a stronger, smarter, merikin, lord bless the fast shippin n unbeatscable proice o de Amazonian! ALL HAIL!¡

Perfect fit for 2004 Jetta GLI. Removed broken glass and cleaned surface with alcohol before installing double sided tape and glass. Used some masking tape to hold it in place for a day to make sure tape cured.

my passenger side view fell off on my 2002 volkswagen jetta. i needed a new one and this one works great. easy to install, hasn’t fallen off, it’s been on there for about 4 months now and i’ve had no issues.EDIT (7/12/23): still sticking on!!! no issues with it a year later, 100% get this if you need a new mirror!!!!

Fits my 2001 Passat perfectly! Easy to install. Worried the small adhesive strips weren’t enough, but so far they’re working fine. Cost the same as a “cut to fit” option at my local auto parts store that was warped beyond mention. Great value for the price!

This was a lifesaver for our car, in which both mirrors broke and we had to replace them. It's a fair price and was easy to install. I would just caution you to open the package and double-check you're attaching the right mirror to the right side of the car because the driver and passenger mirrors are different and cannot be used interchangeably! There's no clear indication on the packaging so you just have to take the mirror out and look.

Super fit, make sure to use automobile silicone sealant and dot it around the mirror. It'll cure overnight and stays put!A number of good videos online explains how and type of sealant. Don't bother with regular silicone or 3m tape. Those won't take the defroster at the outside mirror.

tricky installing it. Applied the double sided tape to the old mirror. Look for a little suction cup I keep from old halogen lights to use to help guid me. Cant find one so make a loop of regular tape and slide my fingers in hole. I get into position, take a deep breath...I direct my new mirror closer....closer...closer...crap, my piece of tape I was using as a finger hold slipped and now the glass is stuck on a little crooked and you can see the crappy blue tinted mirror behind. What to do...the tape holds too good and I am afraid of cracking the new mirror. I grab a black sharpie pen and try and cover my mistake. I hope my wife will not notice.

The product that was sent did not fit my 2007 Passat. I had a rushed order which cost me 20 dollars.Not too happy that I have a over paid for shipping item that I cant send back because it will cost me more money for a10 dollar item. So Fit System has false information about my mirror size.I would give you no star if I couldThanks for nothing, I wont be ordering anymore products, nor will i recommend any of your products to anyone.
