This is a very-well designed and made device with built-in versatility and encouragement.First, the girth of the bar and the covering material make gripping it even for smaller hands so much easier than the usual wrist curlers and especially the traditional barbell and dumbbell shafts; you're not going to be digging your fingers into your palms or have slipping fingers because of sweat and temporary grip gaps.Second, there is a percentage-of-progress printed on the strap that you view as you continue to roll up the weight and strap; a nice touch to keep you distracted and focused at the same time.Third, the quality of the main strap and its connectors, as well as those of the extensions strap's, are top notch. The fact that there is an included extension strap really opens up other possibilities for using the device. With or without the extension, it can also be used with resistance bands/straps/bungees or hanging weights or kettle bells, or attached to fixed points to perform isometrics. It's small enough and light enough to travel with you to the gym. Just roll the strap around the center where is already attached, and the extension strap there or elsewhere. I'd find two hook-and-loop closure to go around each to keep things secure and neat. unfortunately, it does not come with a bag or sleeve. Those simply-remedied shortcomings aside, it's a great tool and greater deal at this price point.

I have a set of adjustable dumbells, and a single kettle bell. However, the addition of the FitBeast Forearm Strenthener makes for a nice addition and gives me the ability to add addition exercise that I cannot do with my current equipment. It can take a bit of effort to get it setup and attached to whatever you want to lift. But once you do, it is very durable and has a comfortable grip for your hands. There are multiple settings for % that allow you to determine how much effort you are using to lift your object. It comes with an additional strap which I didn't use or review. Overall, I really like it, and plan to create a set of exercises using it. To that point, it even comes with a booklet that has suggested exercises you can use with it with instructions which is awesome. They really have thought of everything. Well Done.

Got this to add some variety to my home workouts, and it's been a solid addition. The thicker handles provide a comfortable grip and add a bit of extra challenge, which is great for targeting the forearms. The adjustable strap is handy, making it easy to attach different weights depending on the exercise. The build quality is impressiveโ€”feels sturdy and well-made. I've been using it with a kettlebell, and the motion is smooth throughout. It's a straightforward piece of kit but effective. One thing to note is that it can be a bit tough on the wrists initially, especially if you're not used to this type of movement. But with consistent use, it becomes more manageable and definitely helps in building strength.Overall, it's a great tool for anyone looking to improve grip strength and forearm endurance. Simple, effective, and well worth the investment.

Product is great, sturdy, well-made. It's one of the most reliable way to train grip + forearm strength in UK gyms. There is very little, if any equipment dedicated to that type of strength training so these have been brilliant. Have had no problem with weight distribution or capacity loading it. Overall very happy!

At first glance this looks like an insanely well built piece of kit.I've used something similar to this at my old boxing gym to help strengthen the wrists but i was unaware how much more this could target if using the correct movements & form.In the set you have the main bar/roller with attached red webbing & black carabiner clip & a separate strap with a D ring on it.It was really easy to attach the weights by passing the strap though the weight & clipping it back on to itself & then its locked into place & ready to go.Compared to the last one i used like this, this one seems so much better quality, the bar itself has a really nice weight to it & it feels extremely sturdy in the hand. The non slip grips are a little thicker too which apparently helps to add a little extra resistance, targets more muscles in your hands and forearms & helps to improve your overall grip strength. One thing i loved that a lot of the other exercise products on Amazon don't do & that's to actually add a full break down on how to use it correctly to get the best possible results. So i was really happy to see inside the booklet there was a full breakdown, there's 4 warm up moves & 6 different exercises showing you exactly which muscles are being targeted with each exercise as well as a description of the move itself so you can use the proper form.Which that alone earns massive brownie points from me.If used with really light weights this could be an extremely handy tool to aid in recovery from an injury like carpal tunnel or tennis elbow.Overall i've been really impressed with this so far.It feels really well made & sturdy.Prefect tool for both strength gaining & injury recoveryAt the current price at the time of writing i feel it offers amazing value for money.Would 100% recommend this to others.

Higher quality than I expected! It's got some weight to it, which I like - it is not cheap plastic and does not feel cheap. The rubberized grips are excellent for sweaty hands, and the length of the strap is perfect. I love the % indicators on the strap, but if you didn't like that then simply flip it around and the back side is blank. It does come with an extra blank strap as well. The center piece that the strap rolls up into is metal, not plastic which I appreciate. It feels like it will last a long time.In my home workouts this is a pretty versatile tool. I like to attach 25-30lbs, roll it up, and use it for bicep curls. The fact that the weight isn't totally stable (because its on a strap) engages more of your small stabilizing muscles. When used as advertised, it will never get old or too easy. Starting with just 2-4lbs is all you need to get a great forearm workout for beginners. Most of all I love that with the caribiner (which is quite high quality itself) you aren't limited to just hanging weights. You could fill an empty milk jug with water and attach it, or literally anything else. Awesome product!

If you're looking at this, you've probably used some of the other versions of forearm trainers that have come out over the years. I've used them, and I think this one is a suitable upgrade over most of the others. The handle is essentially a "thick bar" or "fat handle," so you'll be getting some grip work in addition to the wrist flexing workout. Some have attributed working with thick bars to helping with elbow issues; I've don't have any experience with elbow issues, but I can say that using this hasn't caused any such pain. The materials of this forearm trainer are significantly more robust than what I've seen in other ones I've used. The strap is like a seatbelt in thickness and strength. That'll take decades to wear out with sensible use, and you get two of them! The handles themselves appear to be strong, thick steel. The carabiners are also strong streel. I like to test my equipment with weights inexcess of what I'd actually use them for (for safety reasons), and the carabiners handled 300lbs with ease. I'm obviously never going to use that much weight, so I'd call that a design win.My only quibble with the design was the decision to use a rubber-like cover for the handles instead of a knurling on the metal itself. The rubber will wear away over time. Depending on use that could take decades.

A wrist roller, while ultimately a simple device, is still more complicated than, say, a dumbbell. You can improvise a wrist roller in various ways (I once made one out of a length of bamboo and some standard cord), but it's nice to have one that is smooth, easy to load weight onto, and is comfortable and effective to use. This one fits that criteria well. First of all, it has a slightly thicker than usual diameter to the handle, at 1.77". This not only makes it more effective, it actually makes it more comfortable to use than one with a thinner handle. I got this one to replace one with a thinner handle that I simple wasn't too inclined to use because it just wasn't too comfortable to use. The bigger reason than the handle diameter, though, is the handle material. While I would prefer steel, this one is a hard, slightly tacky plastic. It's an upgrade over my thinner-handled one, which has a rubber grip to it that provides a lot of friction and thus burning when used. This FitBeast roller burns maybe slightly with extended use, but it is not uncomfortable. A little gym chalk will probably make it nil. Of course, I said that about the previous one, too, and I just never was enthused to break out chalk or wear gloves with it. Hopefully I'll use this one more.As for loading weights, it works really well with a loading pin, of course. They don't include one, which is fine with me because I have like three of them already. I also tried this with a kettlebell and my rucking backpack (works great). I also attached a heavyish dumbbell. That works, but you have to make sure it is centered and realize that it may tip during roll up. They also include an extension strap for loading bigger objects like water jugs or something. I haven't tried it, but they include a booklet that shows how to use that and the device and the different exercises you can do with this (basically wrist rolls, wrist curls, arm curls - all regular and reverse). Using the extension strap is simple enough. As for rolling up and down, it is smooth and steady, with no twisting. They mark the nylon strap so you can see what percentage of it you have rolled up or down. It's not really necessary, but it's an interesting little motivational device and helps keep you locked in.
