This carburetor was a perfect fit for my 1980's Ariens rear tine tiller with a 7 HP Tecumseh engine, model HH70. Installed in about 5-10 minutes. Engine started on third pull. It ran a little rough out of the box, but with minor adjustment of the jet in the bottom of the float bowel it smoothed out and ran perfectly. I ran the tiller hard for several hours prepping for planting grass, at full throttle, with no problems. At idle the engine was smooth like it was when brand new. At $14 it was a great bargain.

Picked up a used Ariens rototiller and start but kept stalling shortly later. Tried cleaning the carb but still quitting after a short while. Ordered this replacement and after a simple swap had it up and running after just a few pulls of the cord!!

Bolted right on. Throttle cable and spring hooked up perfectly. I used this on an Ariens Rocket VII rear tine tiller with the original Tecumseh 7hp engine.
