First, let me say that I am writing this review with mixed feelings as I am purchasing this item AGAIN for the 6th time.I love my Fitbit and wear it 24/7 for everything. I absolutely love the look of this band. It is soft and comfortable on my arm. The style is simple and suits my casual, busy working Mom lifestyle. However, the quality of the Velcro is terrible. They seriously need to figure out something better. The first two bands I purchased(2022 & 2023) lasted about a year, which I would consider a good value with my active lifestyle.I am now purchasing my 4th band in One year! After 3 months, the Velcro will not hold and I am constantly stopping what I am doing to readjust and close the strap. It's not just annoying. It gets to the point that it falls completely off my arm.Fact: Looking at my exact Order history here on Amazon, I can see that the first two I bought lasted one year each. The last three have only lasted approximately three months each. 2 StarsFeelings: I'm buying another one because for about two months, I think it's perfect! 4 starsFitbit can do better!!

Looks nice but fell off twice and smells bad if you keep on in shower.

This band actually stays on my Fitbit Charge 6 unlike the cheap ones on Amazon. Comfortable unlike the standard band. That said, it is expensive. Almost gave it 3 stars for value due to cost, but it does really work so raised it to four.

I’ve owned a Fitbit charge since the Charge 3 days, and have worn it pretty much every day. The wrist bands that come with the watch have never appealed to me, and originally irritated the skin on my wrist, so I have tried many different bands. Most aftermarket bands are in the $5-$10 range. The most widespread problem I’ve noticed is that these inexpensive bands frequently don’t stay attached to the watch. I have observed this problem in many bands spanning brands and styles. The other problem is cheap material. Especially on bands with clasps. This band has none of the problems of the aftermarket parts. It snaps in the watch perfectly and always feels firmly attached. Also, the material is very strong despite being thinner than most other bands. This makes it extremely lightweight. The black material has a very clean look also.I wear mine 24/7 except when it’s being charged, and in my opinion it’s the best Velcro-type Fitbit charge band available.Yes it is 30 bucks where others are 7. I think it’s worth it.

The velcro strap is weak and loses its effectiveness very quickly - which means the Fitbit comes off of your wrist very easily. Also, the band is glued together and now the glue is dissolving and the band is falling apart. I thought by buying a Fitbit brand band it would be a quality item but it is not. Far from it. The band falls off at night easily when I sleep, and all day long I am constantly having to re-secure the watch to my wrist because the band comes loose from the velcro. I finally stopped wearing it because I am too afraid the watch will fall off when I am not paying attention.

Worst junk ever. I love my Fitbit 5, thought I wouldn't like the stock strap on it because I didn't like the one that came with my Fitbit 3. I ordered this hook and loop (not Velcro, that would probably have been better) strap, I immediately saw that it was going to be trouble. The strap came apart from the device more than once, I almost lost my Fitbit a couple of times. The hook and loop piece was so small that it didn't hold to itself very well, and it kept snagging on things and peeling off itself. I am truly amazed this was made and sold by Fitbit, I'm equally amazed they charged as much as they did for it. I returned it, I am using the stock strap that came with the Fitbit 5 and am satisfied with that. I seriously do not recommend this strap at any price.

Update Jan. 28, 2021After just over a month, this band has stretched to the point it no longer fits well enough to get a reliable heart rate or sleep tracking. The velcro has also proven to be weak and getting weaker over time. Definitely not going to be a long term band. I’m busting this down from four to two stars. For the money, it’s a huge disappointment.Original review: I mostly wear my Fitbit Charge 5 on my ankle (as I did with my Charge 4 before that) and I've been looking forever for a band that allows me to remove the Charge without taking the band off the device. This band design does allow me to do that, which is great. My ultimate band though will be adjustable enough in size to be able to switch from my ankle to wrist without changing the band. (The Charge 5 band connectors don't seem terribly durable so I hate having to switch bands out of fear of breaking them.) This band falls short of that, but it's getting closer. This band is more comfortable than the band that comes with the Charge 5 (which isn't terrible itself), especially on my ankle. I bought it in both small (for my wrist) and large (for my ankle) and am happy with both, just wish there was more of a one size fits all band.
