II ordered the Protect X Plug & Play Smart Sensor System for my 2024 Grand Highlander. I live in a safe neighborhood and I'm not worried about it when I'm at home, but you never know what could happen when you're out and about and it's in a parking lot and the Protect X gives more peace of mind. I also love that it only took a few minutes to install and was super easy. I tend to procrastinate when something is going to take a while to put together so being that this was a plug-in play made life very easy. It seems to be pretty sensitive and goes off very easily and protects the wheels, catalytic converter and let's you know when glass gets broken, which is all items that the car Alarm does not do.. i'm happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend it.

Our neighborhood is fine but this Highlander is parked outside and sometimes on the street and one never knows with cat-con thieves on the loose. I tested this and it triggers easily. Disables with car unlock. Nice deterrence device.

Installation is a breeze, and it is really simple to program. I have done some test runs, and it seems dependable. I haven't had to actually rely on it yet, but I feel confident in its abilities should the occasion occur.

This device is tailor-made for DIY fast installation. Owners simply need to unscrew 2 to 3 screws and disassemble the cover under power steering. The second step is to plug Smart Sensor into the socket of vehicle. Then, fit the cover back to its original position.
