Although smaller units than I would have liked, they effectively replace larger incandescent ones. Only real issue is wiring should be marked for positive and negative as they are LEDs. Logic says red is + and black - but these are the reverse. Had to rewire them. I should have tested before installing. Being marked would help alot.

The lead wires are maybe 22AWG, pretty tiny and too small for a red crimp connector, which are designed for 16AWG wires. Had to strip 1/2” and double it over before crimping. On the plus side, the wires are stranded and tinned.

These bulbs are from a reputable company, but they are NOT 2 Nautical Mile bright. There is no rating on the housing, i'd estimate they are 1 mile or less. They are cheaper than some others, with thin wire and dark tint lens that make them dull. Ok for something small, but not good for lakes or bay where you need the safety of bright lights.

There are several brands of navigation lights for sale here. I bought a cheaper set and they were very thin metal that would easily get destroyed on a boat. I was replacing a broken light made by a major boating manufacturer. That set would have been five times the price of these. This set may be slightly less durable, but for the price are a nice set. Make sure the LED lights are aligned when you install them.The holes did not align with the existing holes, which is not a big deal. Very happy with these.

So far the lights work great. LEDs are both bright. Hopefully they will last a couple of years.

I received the lights promptly as promised. I installed the lights and the red one was not working after confirming I had power to the light the light was still not working. I contacted the company during the weekend and received notice on Monday that a replacement was on the way. Great customer service. Great product.
