Nylon/Stainless Steel Thru-Hulls, 1"
This Five Oceans 1" thru-hulls gives the look of stainless steel without the cost. Nylon plumbing fittings like these cost less than similar fittings made of Marelon or Bronze, but are for above-the-waterline use only. Designed to fit hulls up to 5/8" thick. Uses include scupper, sink drain and bilge pump overboard discharge.

Fits as advertised. Cheaper than some alternatives, fit the hole perfectly, nice look on the exterior of the hull. If you need one, this one is nice all around.

Good Quality. Slightly larger diameter hole required to install than my existing fitting, but definitely worth the money.

It works. You have to make a fairly large hole to accommodate it. It looks good and seems to be of good quality if a bit pricey. A simple white one can be had for about $7 at a brick and mortar store. That being said, looks won out and decided to purchase this one.

I have used a lot of different thru hull fittings and I must sat this is the best I have seen aside from solid stainless. I would not hesitate this product below the waterline.
