Only had them on about 5 riders, I like to the power transfer because of the stiff sole. That boa looks like it could break at any moment (fishing line?), but I'm told it will outlast the shoe, modern engineering, I guess. Fit is good, but a bit roomie for me up front, I have slim feet, but the Velcro straps help. I used the medium thickness insoles from my old Specialized Rime shoes because the Kestrel insole is very thin, and I needed something to take up the extra space. I'm a size 12 US, but these at 45.5 work best, even with the med wool hiking socks I always where when biking. I'll update my review as time goes on.

The USA size is probably what is more accurate. I ordered a 45.5 and it said 12. I am a 11.5 and they were a little big for me. Usually the euro sizing is more accurate but think the USA size was definitely right. I rode them once and they are pretty high volume so if you need to place an insole... plenty of room. I didn't care fore the straps or boa so returned them. They also weren't very breathable, which was very noticable.

I worn them three times now I have to wear a brace inside the shoe for one of my feet and it fits fine in the shoe. First pair I ordered were too big. This pair is perfect. I highly recommend these.

They are also very stiff which is good but a bit wide and the straps and BOA are not good enough to really hold my feet without stopping circulation
