I used this tube for my 150 gallon aquarium to add sand while fish were in tank. It worked perfectly. It could also be used as feeding chute for bottom dwellers if needed. It could also be a good hiding tube, but for me it is a perfect sand chute!

I'm not sure what the 4 inch tube is made of but it's so sensitive that any impact at all will break it. I tried to drill a mounting hole and as soon as the bit made contact it popped loudly and about 8 inches broke right off the end. The piece that came off overlapped itself about 1 inch as if it were under stress to be 3 inches instead of 4. I also purchased a 6 inch x 3 foot piece and it's awesome. It works beautifully meaning it drills easily, cuts like butter.

I bought this for a unique purpose and that was to trap a aggressive maroon that was being way to dominant and picking at the other fish. It’s transparency makes it so it harder for the fish to see. Made a super hard job, easy. It also makes a good target feeder for corals.
