We have glued, stitched and you name it trying to repair the shifter on our daughters mustang due to the $$$$ of replacing the entire unit. When we saw this deal we jumped on it and it is FANTASTIC!! We surprised her when she picked up the car and it looked like showroom once again.Fast shipping and so far works like a charm.

Perfect OEM replacement shifter. Much smoother shifting than old one. It took me about 30 minutes to swap out. I used a jack and stand on drivers side to get underneath. Iām very happy and please with my new shifter. Hoping for another 240k miles. šš»āāļø

Worked fine in my 2008 Ford Mustang Base V6. I have the chrome interior, but truthfully, the black looks better. Mine had the little slide thing broken. Had a towel stuffed in there for years to protect the opening while in drive. Have to be a little mechanical to install this. I had to jack up the left side of the car to access the shifter cable located above the drive shaft. Watch a youtube video (but he has a lift in his garage). I was worried I couldn't get the one part off (yellow thingy), but with 2 screwdrivers, one very small, one very large, I was able to do get it off. Need really long screwdrivers, including the small one. Total install time...maybe an hour.
