About this item

  • Excellent Material- Angle grinder sanding disc is made of thickened 80 grit alumina abrasive, durable, good abrasion resistance,anti-static and anti-clogging.
  • Versatile Design- Angle grinder attachments adopt a bevels and overlapping construction design suitable for fine grinding of various surfaces, including flat, curved, chamfered, and concave-convex surfaces.
  • Superior Protection- The sanding grinding wheel is outfitted with a thickened glass fiber mesh cover, which is more wear-resistant than an ordinary plastic mesh cover. The thick cloth base and high-tenacity cotton lining make the sanding discs more flexible, enabling them to achieve an excellent polishing effect.
  • High Efficiency- The surface of the angle flap discs is equipped with a heat-resistant and anti-stick coating, and the high-strength oxide raw material improves the grinding efficiency while ensuring a smooth surface.
  • Multi-Purpose- Aluminum oxide flap discs are widely used for metal, stainless steel, wood, and even plastic, for tasks such as finishing, grinding, deburring, and polishing.

These flap discs are constructed well, they clean up metal and sharpen blades with ease. The grit of the sandpaper is good to shape wood or clean metal without much time or effort. I use an angle grinder with these flapper disks to sharpen my zero-turn lawnmower blades and brush-hog blades. With only 8 slow passes the blades are super sharp with this flap disc. After grinding 15 different mower blades the grinding discs are still in acceptable condition (which is amazing to me). I think these discs outperformed my expectations and I think they are a great value.

I really enjoy metal fabrication. I did it professionally for a few years, and now do it primarily as a hobby. One of the lessons I learned early on is that when welding, proper surface prep is the key to good, solid, attractive welds. A few minutes spent properly and thoroughly cleaning the surfaces of the metal you plan to weld will save you loads of frustration when it comes time to weld. Flap discs are my favorite tool for this job- they do a great job of removing surface rust and mill scale, without removing too much of the base metal. The downside to flap discs is that they don't last very long, and they are usually expensive! So, when I saw this 10-pack of flap discs listed for such a good price, I had to check them out.The discs arrived quickly, and all seem to be well constructed. The discs have no labels, which is a bit annoying. I labeled them all with a magic marker so I'm able to determine their grit later on. I tested a few of them on my grinder, and they seem to spin up to speed with no balance issues.Overall, I think that for the currently advertised price of just $12.99, these are a very good value, and I recommend them to anyone looking to save some cash on your next flap disc purchase.

When these arrived I needed to sharpen one of my inverted kindling splitters that had dulled to the point of being unusable. One flap disc brought it back to a razor's edge with very little effort. In my experience with other brands, one disc will sharpen one lawnmower blade before needing replacement. $1 to sharpen your lawnmower blade? Sure.I only use 60-80 grit, so I'm not concerned with the lack of a label. Also, it's not difficult to guesstimate grits based on touch.I see no reason to choose these over another brand. But also no reason not to if the value is there.Pro tip: If you don't own one of the knock-off 5005 sharpeners, don't hesitate. They are fantastic. Will pay for itself in 2-3 sharpenings.

These are great for remove material fast. Work great removing burrs from metal, grinding down screws in wood, or removing skin when you accidentally get too close to it!

I'm learning TIG welding, and one of the most important things is that the metal has to be clean. Nothing beats a flap disc for getting rid of rust. These seem to do a great job. They're very aggressive in getting down to the metal.

I have used these before and only have a couple left. This pack looks identical to the ones I have left. I have a big project coming up to renovate a ten foot trailer and these are perfect to remove rust. Great buy.

The discs are good, and I've used them for stripping paint and rust off of metal objects. I tend not to use them on wood unless it's for paint, because there are better woodworking products. They hold up as well as any other similar discs I've had, and are priced fairly. My biggest issue is there is no label or stamp indicating the grit. These are sold in lots of different grits by lots of different brands, and I've always seen some sort of an indication marked on them. In other words, it's not like you're only going to ever use 80 grit and nothing else so it should be stamped on the spindle or a label of some sort attached. That requires me to take care of that myself, probably by marking them with a permanent marker with a simple '80'. Decent flap discs at a decent price, but that lack of a mark really bothers me.

These flap discs are fine, but they lose a star for not having any kind of markings at all. I had to go through the set and write the grit on with a marker so I can keep track of them.
