I previously purchased a variant of this chair, which I intended to replace with this one. It would seem either this particular color variant is smaller, or the entire line of chairs has been redesigned to be a bit smaller in all directions, as if the chair were scaled down. While this size discrepancy is not drastic, and a first time purchaser probably won't notice, it is unfortunate for me, as I have gotten used to the size of the previous chair. Otherwise, it retains the same high build quality, reliable sturdiness, and quality of fabric and upholstery as my previous chair, and so I can't be too frustrated. The basket underneath as well seems to be different, which leads me to believe its a different design altogether, but this new design is more reliable than the one which came with my previous chair.I buy these chairs for use at my computer, as they are exceptionally comfortable, and will never break. My old one is now nearing 6 years old, and its still holding up as rock solid as the day I bought it.Do note, this chair arrives in two pieces. Some have complained previously that there are no pilot holes to screw the top half to the legs, or that they couldn't assemble it because they did not own a drill, but I found that with an ordinary screw driver, I was able to assemble the chair without any injury or issues.

I just got this chair as of 2/19/13, when I ordered it I took a chance because it looked solid and comfortable for a replacement computer chair. The chair to my surprise, is everything I said and more, not only is it solid and comfortable it is warm to sit in, the back pocket and bible shelf under the seat are just plusses. The material seems strong and putting it together takes only a few minutes as it comes with the back cushion and bible shelf unatached. If you want something other than the traditionl office chair this is an excellant choice. I would reccommend this to anyone looking for that alternative chair for your computer desk, also for those looking to use it for its intended purpose, beware, you might get sleeping people during your sermon.8/30/20 Update: chair is still in great shape and holding strong, 7 years later, only downside is the under side of the chair has flaked off in a carbon type of way, doesnt affect its looks or sturdiness, other than that, still using chair, and is well built.Note:1” x 1” Square Chair Leg Caps, help the leg ends from damaging carpets etc, also a definite recommend for this chair.The stain is from a spilled drink, just more proof how ell it is holding up, after 7 years.

I bought 2 of these chairs to test out with my friends when we play MTG. Everyone loved them.- The chair is well built and very sturdy.- The seat is comfortable and doesn't flatten- The seat is wider than most chairs which is nice when you're sitting for hours.It looks like it sits just a little low by a couple inches, but once you sit in it you realize its fine. My gaming table is a standard large business conference table and the height is perfect.The only con I'd give the chair is in regards to the rack/shelf under the seat. It's a little too high up and so you can really only put a book in it. I didn't lower my star rating because I assume that's what the rack is for.

This chair is very sturdy, easy to assemble and a good value. The true colors are hard to tell from the photos as the metal parts are a sort of root beer color and what looked like a black fabric with white dots actually has tan dots instead, but it looks good. They are not exactly elegant looking, but for the price they are very serviceable. Update after 1 year with almost no use, it is in a spare room, the fabric is tearing for no apparent reason.Update2: The fabric continues to deteriorate and looks bad now.
