Very sturdy table. Does not wobble and is a great size for cutting fabric for crafts and clothes.

Note I write this review quite some time after I purchased this item. I wouldn't buy this size table again from the same manufacturer. All of these classroom tables are very heavyweight. Unfortunately, this one had the same weight but worse than average packaging protection. So one side of the packaging was crushed and one of the short edges of the table was cracked and chipped. But that seems to be a common problem with these classroom tables. What really bothered me is that the manufacturer included the wrong size screws for the support bar (tables with this length have a support bar that is screwed into the center of the bottom of the table. The included screws barely reached through the support bar, and cracked the laminate bottom when I tried to screw them in. I had longer screws that fit so I ended up using those, but that doesn't excuse the poor QC.

Returned twice and given up! Two times they arrived with corners broken, wood dissolving and scratches on the table tops. I gave up.

This table is very heavy and fairly sturdy. Because it will be used in a utility room, the minor chips in the surface are not important to me, but it would not be suitable for a more formal use, like an office or classroom.

I bought two red tables for my sewing room, one for my sewing machines and one to use as a cutting table. I bought these because they were more affordable than the other choices (Ikea, gluing cubes together, kitchen cutting table, etc.) and even though they had no reviews the price was right to risk it. The table parts are sturdy and the legs are easily adjustable, a plus that I didn't even think of as I adjusted both tables to different heights. The table top is finished on both sides with laminate ( a nice gloss on the laminate) sandwiched over press wood ( the underside of my red table is yellow and I could have used that side for the top) which makes the tops heavy to move with out help. They both arrived promptly and very well packaged with not a scratch. My red tables match the color on Amazon. and wer easy for my husband to assemble. I am thinking I may buy another for an economy mid-century modern dining table look and buy some used chrome legged student chairs and put them in my patio. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice.

Pros: Large, Sturdy top. Plenty smooth to write and do quick drawings on. The table will hold weight just fine. I have two 40lb studio monitors (speakers), 2 24" monitors, a midi controller (small digital piano), 12 channel mixer, and other "desk" stuff on this table, and not a bit of bowing. It is also nice and heavy; it feels sturdy. I like that it allows for you to adjust the height. A laser mouse works well on the surface, and moves easily because the top is so slick.Cons: The thing shakes. I would almost describe it as a twitch. If you try and erase a pencil marking, it will just start twitching back and forth in the direction you were erasing, very quickly. The top is very slick. My speakers slide very easily across the top. I consider this a con because if I slightly bump into something, it will move out of place on the table. You may like that stuff moves with little effort, and it sure does let the mouse move easily. The stickers that mark where you are supposed to install the legs were all incorrectly placed. The flat, triangular piece at the top of the legs was bent out of shape on every single one of my legs. Basically, the quality control was terrible.Other Thoughts: I bought this as a desk for my dorm room. And I am happy, it will do what I want it to do, and has plenty of room underneath of it for my 19" racks. The issues with quality control did not bother me, they were simply an inconvenience. I hammered the legs flat and measured out a new spot for the legs. A drill will come in handy, as there are 45 screws that must be installed and you have to start them all yourself. As for the issue with it shaking... It's really obnoxious. The desk, like I said, feels sturdy. And I am not afraid of it collapsing, it just shakes. It is because there is no cross bracing on the legs. I actually used 4 ratchet straps and made cross braces out of them, and the table shakes very little now, it just looks really odd. Like I said, I am happy with the table, but use this information to not buy blindly.
