I own a Nikon 5600 which to my suprise has no port for a off flash cord. Humph!!! Fortunaly this adapter worked well. Just place in hot shoe with the arrow pointed forward, tighten it down, plug in the flash cord and your good to go.

I use this non-dedicated PC sync on a Canon Rebel XS to trigger my AB800 strobes with a cable. I was confident that it would work just fine. There are no electronics inside this item nor will it protect your camera from higher voltage triggering. So, I was careful to research my AB800 which triggers below 6 volts. The construction seems solid. I've only used it once but so far, it works. It is now a permanent item for my photobooth kit.

I use this with my Sony a6000 and my older large flash units that have a trigger voltage of 6 volts or less (note: this unit does not have any safe sync circuitry). This unit fits and functions perfectly and looks good too. The hot shoe connector is a standard basic non-dedicated hot shoe and works great with older flash units like the Sunpak 555.

Nice quality, fit's well, and works fine. I use it on my Canon Rebel T2i to fire a grip mounted flash and it makes a sexy looking combination. When the ladys see it, they drop their draw's to have a photo taken.
