Works well with both strobes allows you to keep weight on lower end of lightstand for better center of gravity helps keep light from blowing over still recommend sandbags anytime outdoors

well, the truth is that it works perfectly for my godox ad600pro, hopefully this will be of help to someone who has the same doubt since it took me a long time to confirm 100% if they were compatible

This is the 2nd time I’ve bought this product. I like that you can tighten the umbrella rods down. Before they just moved freely.

I have extension heads for all of my Godox/Flashpoint lights, and they are all solidly made. This one is no exception. To be able to get the light over a subject without having a heavy battery and components attached to it is great, plus you have access to the main unit while the light and modifier are higher. I highly recommend. The built in LED modeling lamp is good too and works with no issues.

When Making an item to hold weight especially a larger modifier please make the tightening clamps out of metal instead of plastic to avoid stripping! That’s my biggest pet peeve

This lets you put just the head up high on stand, and then the heavy body of the unit down low on the stand. I buy just a carabiner clip to clip the main unit, in a case you can buy just for this use. This ballast down low lets you use in higher winds than not doing it this way. The other thing, if your stand tips over, the more sensitive parts of the unit are close to the ground. A must have for location outdoor shooting with anything more than a gentle breeze. Wish it was a foot or two longer, but it is ok. Well made.

My lighting assistants often complained about the weight of the AD600 Pro and light modifier on the top of the light stand / monopod, so I was thrilled when I found this extension for the flash head. Attaching this to the system is pretty straight forward; remove the bulb from the AD600, plug the bulb into the extension head, plug the extension head cable into the AD600, mount the extension head to your stand, and attach the light modifier of your choice. That is all there is to it. The most difficult part is unplugging the cable end from the extension head, where it is connected for shipping. Beyond that it is easy and the reduction of weight on the top of the stand is amazing! You will need a shoulder bag to carry the AD600 housing and battery.
