FLASHPOINT XPLOR 600 Batteries have a history of failing as mine did upon trying to charge it. Upon returning the unit, ADORAMA claimed the box arrived empty and would not refund or replace it. I gave them the shipping receipt and tracking review showing it's weight and arrival at ADORAMA. Upon looking into Adorama's reviews, I found other horrific business complaints. One guy received used equipment when he ordered new. Now I'm just out the $800 I paid for their garbage. Don't buy from Adorama and don't buy Flashpoint or Godox (same manufacturer). I bought two Neewer wireless strobes and they have so far been dependable and for less than the 1 Xplor600 unit. When I need the power and TTL I will by a Prophoto B10 plus.

I came from the TTL version which is $899. This one is exactly the same but just isn’t TTL.If you don’t know the product at all, they are well built, High speed sync is amazing. And have so many options. I love them.I have three of them btw. One battery did die on me but was sent a new one next day.

The battery was dead on arrival, which is disappointing. I would have hoped they would have worked out this issue by now as it seems to be common and leaves me little faith in its replacement.That said, Adorama's customer service handled it right and had a new battery shipped out promptly. I am hoping the new one will last.The strobe itself is fantastic, very powerful and insanely fast recycle times. I haven't scientifically tested the color accuracy, but even in normal mode it seems very good for my uses.Overall I am very happy and would recommend this strongly, the only reason for giving this less than 5 stars is concerns about their battery tech, especially considering what a replacement battery will cost should you need one.
