Pretty good for securing to concrete, however drill bit provided was slightly large for the screw size. A couple of the screw would not get tight because of this, The bit should have been 1 size smaller.

Nice set considering the bit was included. I used these in the mortar joints of brick to install cementboard. The bit worked perfectly with little effort using a hammer drill. The screws bit well into the joint and held great. Easy to install and no breakage after over 80 installed. Highly recommend these over Tapcons.

These are great. Other masonry bits and even some other TapComs use a flat head to drive them in. If you use a high powered drill, it is a nightmare to keep the drill on the screw. Luckily, these use the phillips (X shape) heads, so they are much easier to manage when you try to screw these in.The fact that this comes with the drill bit is huge as well. Unless you have a drill bit collection, you may find that you don't have a smaller size like the 3/16. That's what happened to me, and that's why I ended up picking up this set on a whim. I'm glad I did. This is a good kit at a decent price. Well worth the pick up.

Perfect solution to secure a replacement frost free sillcock in my brick exterior. The included drill bit bore the hole perfectly and neatly using just a standard drill. The screws bite nice and tight into the brick and even allow for a mulligan if you drilled the hole too shallow. Just unscrew the screw, drill deeper and screw in again; still nice and tight.
