Everything was great to start- hose was working fabulous weaved through my garden, running twice a day on a timer. After about 6 weeks, I started noticing plants toward the hookup end of the hose seemed wetter than others. Then, my cucumbers started browning and dying on the lower branches. We figured maybe heat. After really watching the hose for a few days it seemed like only the first 5 feet was getting enough water. Took the hose out of the garden (no small feat), tried to get it to work properly, unscrewed the capped end (water would trickle through to end just not much), I could not figure it out. So now we are no longer using, I would not recommend because my garden is now dying and I’ve put a lot of time, $$$, and effort into it.

Updated to add the seller replaced all hoses. I’m hoping I just had a defective batch! Okay, I know with these types of hoses I’m going to need to replace them more often than I’d like, but I can usually get a season out of them. Not with this brand. The first one lasted a couple weeks before it started spraying so hard out of the first 10 feet that nothing past that was getting watered. Thought it might be faulty, so I started using the second hose. (I bought 4.) Got about 3.5 weeks out of that one, now I’m about to hook up my third hose. I’m hoping to be able to finish the hot part of the summer with this one. I recommend buying shorter soakers so you can replace the portion that’s leaking and not have to pull a long hose out and have to run a new one around all the plants and shrubs.

I have a large rose garden split at different locations. Our summer heat has been horrific this year with temps 105-112 here in Sacramento area. I decided I am done with hand watering and bought six of these soakers in 15 and 25 ft size. They give good even flow with good water pressure and out to 40' on a single line. My roses are mature and their thorns are nasty if you get caught on one. While laying out the hose several times it got caught on a thorn...my bad. Anyway there are now two more little holes for the water to drip.....be careful as thorns will poke a hole if caught even lightly on the hose. I do appreciate the stakes which most gardeners will need to guide the hose firmly around a garden. I would buy these again.

I have it set for an hour, but it does not put out enough water for vegetables... and I don't want it running for hours.I wish I could return it.
