Craked after a year of use, i blamed the design. For the crack originated from the rear center opening toward the rigth center side.Yes most of the time we only used the rigth side. A 2nd crack developed, now on the left side, towards rear center exit. Not recommend buying this, a disposable design product.

Works as advertised; works great. We converted our gas/charcoal combo grill into a Blackstone grill with this griddle.Yum, works great and are able to cook the whole meal on it at once. Totally recommend this item.

The grease exit on the rear of the original stuck past the back of the griddle so grease could easily drain away from the unit. This design wont allow for the original grease tray coupled with the exit is within the griddle allowing no way for the grease to exit the back, WHAT A MESS!

This is what Blackstone should have used in the first place. Their griddle is cold rolled steel.But this one is actually cast iron! But I never got to use it because it is twice as heavy as the steel griddle. About 35 pounds versus 15 pounds. So, I returned it, sadly.I recommend this griddle if it and the whole unit will be mostly stationary, due to the over-all weight.Another good thing about his griddle is that it comes PRE SEASONED!! And cast iron resists rusting far better than steel, so keep the griddle and entire unit in a covered location, hopefully with low humidity, and maybe with a bit of vegitible oil coating it.

Bought this to try instead of paying for a stand alone Blackstone flat top grill. We just set it on top of your regular propane grill. We use it more than I thought we would. I think I would like it bigger, so we may eventually buy a regular stand alone, but this works good for now, and only $100.
