We followed the directions and it did not work for us. The back of the plate we were trying to use it on is not completely smooth so maybe that’s the problem. We used it for a different plate years ago and it’s still holding up which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I've purchased larger discs for plates. I used on a wooden bowl and it seems to be holding. The discs adhere better on ceramic for sure~

I hung three plates with these and they lasted about 6-7 months.We were awakened one night by a crash and breaking glass. We feared someone was breaking into tour home.Instead it was our limited edition Jeff Koons plate worth over $600. We immediately took down the Hermes and Warhol plates, but the Koons plate was in 100 pieces.I don't know how to return because it's beyond return dates.

I hung some small 4" plates with these months ago and they are still hanging and hopefully will continue to do so! Very easy to use. Make sure you follow the instructions; I actually let mine 'cure' for a little longer than recommended just to be sure. Looks so much better than the wire hangers.

Great for hanging kids art work. You know, the clay or canvas pieces that come home with no way to hang them! Last year, my daughter decorated a beautiful tile, it was glazed and fired, but nothing attached for hanging it. This was exactly what I needed. The clay, painted, glazed, handprint? Worked for that too! This is perfect for what it says if you follow the instructions and get the glue all gummy first.

Wow, I have never seen anything like this, I was so thrilled not to have to use those bulky plate holders to hang my special plates! I followed the easy instructions precisely and these plate hangers hold so firmly it seems to be magic! I have never written a review before but I was just so impressed with this product that I had to let everyone know!

I tried to use on 3 different plates. Two of them have glazed bottoms, the other has an unglazed bottom. I followed instructions: wash bottom, completely dry, moisten the back until sticky, smooth out all bubbbles, let dry overnight. It was a few days before we could hang them but when we were ready, the discs had started to peel away from 2 of the 3 plates. These are antique plates and I would have been crushed if they had fallen. We used packing tape to secure the discs and so far so good.
