This only works if you have nocks capable of snapping in like those on an arrow. Very misleading to say this will fletch bolts when most bolts have flat nocks so this will not work. Very disappointed after purchasing.

I fletched a dozen arrows with this right when got it, works great. It's pretty easy to use, take your time set it up nice before every batch of arrows you do and it will do just what its supposed to do. I am going to mount it to the bench.

Bought this for my bow shop in a box. I am a avid archer and so is my wife and tree kids this works very well. Magnets are just the right strength. Both clamps work with the right amount of pinch. Easy to adjust well worth the money!!! Would be worth double

As I mentioned in the Headline if you index the odd colored vane (sometimes called the "Cock Vane") first you will have eliminated the most complicated aspect associated with this Fletching Tool. as you most likely already know, the nock must be oriented to the bowstring while concurrently respecting the arrow rest's type and orientation. Failure to follow this guideline "could" result in your fletching negatively impacting your arrow rest emanating in erratic arrow flight and grouping! With a 3 vane arrangement each vane is 120 degrees away from the other. Starting with the odd colored "Cock Vane" first eliminates the sometimes difficult spatial reasoning and necessity to re-fletch!

My original review said it could (for 3 vane fletching) only do cock (“index”) vane parallel to knock/bowstring, good for capture, biscuit, and drop away rests, but not 90° from that, leftward pointing, for standard rests. Actually, completely undocumented, there are two subtle indents, at right angles, where the nob attaches that will select the 90° variant. It’s a bit awkward to assemble. It would be better if there were 4, instead of 2, index holes for the indexing discs. I’ll try to post pics to make this clear. Of course adjustable knocks can be rotated after fletching. Bottom line is that it takes a lot of experimenting and analysis to figure out how to use this device because of the language barrier to documentation. Also, for the vane clamps not to interfere with the knob assembly, only 2 1/2 of the 3 magnets can engage the plate on the clamp (pics to follow). Clearly the offset of the 3 magnets in the plastic that houses them got reversed in the development process and the error was not corrected before production. No excuse!Note that the helical clamp imparts a curve to the vane but an offset (slant, angle) should be used to best effect arrow rotation. This is accomplished by two knobs but can be confusing, even counter-intuitive, which direction to angle the vane. Carefully inspect the result of the first vane attachment to make sure that the angle of the vane doesn’t need to be reversed. Also, I suggest medium viscosity and set time methyl methacrylate glue with catalyst (accelerator). Using a Q-tip, paint the arrow with catalyst and sparingly apply glue to the vane in the clamp. Position firmly and the clamp can be carefully removed in ~15 seconds, progressing to the next vane.
