Very handy product, I am a land surveyor and in my field drawings the shapes of roads, ponds, canals, ditches, and lakes very between each individual project. Being able to easily bend and manipulate the shapes needed makes my truck office a little more user friendly without having to twist and turn my book in every direction to get the correct angles and curves is the best part about it lol.

So it seems as though I was sent someone else's defective return as the package had already been open, was torn and taped closed. One end of the ruler has a permanent kink one inch from end that cannot be smoothed out or reshaped at all... rendering this tool useless and a waste of my money!

I use this to do measurments on my horse which it is great for. I wish now I would have gotten the longer one but the 12 inch works. Bendable easy to use.

I wish I had bought a different one because this isthmian and does not stay in place when you try to trace a curved line with it.

Very good for copying small brake lines i had to make up two brake lines 3 1/2 inches curved to.
Don't stand for JUNK

Can't do much for small radius and it only holds its position on very loose curves.
