So, one day I woke up and let the intrusive thoughts win and ripped up the carpet on my stairs. I have hardwood floors that are in wonderful shape and I just assumed that my stairs would be no different. I was wrong. I pretty quickly realized why the stairs were the only place in the house that were carpeted. They were in horrible shape so I set out on a mission to somehow make them beautiful again. I ordered this self adhesive quarter round because there were gaps between the tread and the riser on every single step and I am so pleased with the results.This quarter round is super easy to trim. I was able to cut it with scissors. The adhesive was above average. For the sake of full transparency, on all but two steps, I did use Gorilla Glue to ensure there wasn't going to be any lifting. That being said, it has been two weeks since I have put the quarter round down on my stairs and the two without any extra adhesive are still holding strong.This quarter round is functional, easy to work with, and a great value. Thanks to this product, I no longer have any weird gaps on my stairs. I'm very happy with this find!

I installed this in my kitchen on the wall behind the sink, where the previous molding had peeled off. I wasn’t able to get this molding to go exactly where I wanted it—it’s very sticky once you remove the two strips of red backing, so I peeled them back short segments at a time and tried to place the molding exactly. Even with this intention, though, I still see small gaps between the countertop and the molding that bother me, though perhaps it’s unavoidable due to the curved edge. Still, it looks 100 times better than it did before, so I’m mostly pleased with this product. I recommend finding an Xacto knife for cutting the end to fit.

My bathroom is soon to be remodeled, but I can’t stand with unsightly molding, so I wanted to fix it temporarily.The Joengoep Flexible Quarter Round Molding worked great. It’s much easier than wood to install, which not need to use nails; you can cut it with a craft knife easily, has excellent adhesion, and its flexibility makes it possible to install on curves. Also, its water resistance makes it perfect for bathroom moldings. And when the time of remodeling comes, it's easy to remove.It’s thinner than my existing molding, so I had to clean the markings aggressively after taking the old wood molding off, but after that and a little caulking, it looks great (please see my before and after photos).I would recommend it.

This quarter round is amazing! I used it on a rental property where the tenant had a not house broken puppy...and I could not be happier! This is some sort of incredible plastic that won't warp, so urinate on it all you want, it isn't going to change shape. When the urine does finally break down the adhesive, which is incredible by the way, all you need to do is brad nail it, and it is good to go for its next round of puppyhood. It looks just as good if not better than wood as you are able to mold it and shape it to the space its intended to go to. For me, this stuff is way to easy, goes on quickly, stays in place, and is easy to pick up, for the price, it is worth every penny, will be reordering and would highly recommend it.

What a great idea! This was so much easier to apply than standard caulk or moulding. It arrived rolled up and was easy to roll out to be straight. The backing is easily removed, and the amount of adhesive seems appropriate – not too strong but strong enough to hold. I decided to use it to add some waterproofing to the bottom of garage cabinets. I was able to apply the entire length in about two minutes. It was easily trimmed with scissors and an crafting knife. I used a seam roller to press it in tightly. This would be a good option to use along the bottom of a bathtub. It would be nice to have more colors, but white works well with a lot of color schemes.

This came super fast and I really did need it quickly. I had a toilet leak and needed to quickly replace flooring, subfloor, baseboard and trim. I already had the baseboard on hand and this trim is the perfect finish to go on top of the new flooring. It is amazing how such a large length of quarter round arrives in such a small box. I remember the days of needing to hook up the trailer to haul home 6', 8', and 12' lengths of wood trim from the llumber yard or big box store. You need to invest in a set of miter scissors to cut this type of material, but they will earn their keep if you use a lot of this type of material. Trust me, trying to use a hacksaw or any other traditional sawblade on this will likely make you cry. This lays down so easily, it's glue ready on both interior sides. Just start at one end laying it down and remove the protective plastic as you work along the length in small sections. The flexibility of this trim is one of its best features. It bends to accomodate those less than perfect, less than plumb, less than level, and less than square situations with existing construction. Another is the ability to accept paint so you can custom color. If you don't want to or can't use the glue application, you can install this with finish nails. Another reason to love this is it doesn't damage and ding from foot traffic or furniture and vacuum bumps. It's so resilient. And the price compaired to traditional wood can't be beat.
