Assembly was a challenge as the wheel casters did not fit into the holes. As learned from a previous reviewer who also had this challenge, I had to ream out the holes with a drill in order to get the 3 of the 5 casters on. 2 of them pushed on by hand. The seat is quite firm. I added a padded cushion for comfort, but that’s just personal preference.

Well made item. Sturdy construction, lumbar option, ease of assembly, and great customer service.The chair was missing one part, as we found out during assembly. We made a quick message to the seller, who responded promptly, then checked on the missing part.Shortly thereafter they decided that since it would take longer than anticipated to get and ship the missing part, they would ship another new chair.Within less shipping time than the first chair, it arrived at our door.That's reputable customer service.

This is a decent chair for the price.Assembling the chair was pretty straightforward. There are a total of 12 screws that are tightened with the included Allen wrench. 4 screws to attach the armrests to the back, 4 screws to attach the back to the seat and 4 screws to attach the seat to the mechanical seat mechanism.There are several things you can adjust on this chair. The chair has a gas cylinder to adjust the seat up or down. The foot ring can be adjusted up or down to accommodate the different sizes of people's legs. Also, the armrest pads can be adjusted and the armrests themselves can be moved up or down. Finally, there is a lumbar support that can be adjusted up, down, forward and back.The seat cushion is softer than I would like. I prefer a firmer cushion myself.Overall, this is a pretty good chair for the price.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

As I was putting this together, it became evident how cheaply and imprecisely it was made. For example, I had to ream out the holes in order to insert the casters. (At least their customer service number knew to recommend doing this--which also indicates how often others have had problems with it.) The fabric is scratchy, and overall I don't expect it to last very long.

I ordered this stool to alternate sitting and standing at a standing desk. The seat feels comfortable and the hight is right. This stool is sturdy and easy to assemble.

I did a lot of research and was excited when I finally selected a new "wobble" stool for my sit/stand desk and even more excited when it arrived. Unfortunately the seat itself isn't very comfortable, even scratchy if wearing shorts. And wobble?!? Lean stool would be a better description. I don't feel like it really engages my core.Once put together not even sure it separates if I wanted to return.The search for a comfortable wobble stool continues...

I waited to try it out before reviewing. It’s everything they advertise, soft cushion, flexible and adjusts to different heights. Great for people who can’t sit still and leans from side to side and front to back.
