This review is for the Rail Clip 25 Compact (4-Pack) - Boat Fender Hangers and Holders for Easy Docking to Pontoon. Effortlessly Clip and Adjust Bumpers to Rails. (Black)… Offered by the FlexLife store. These are a good quality and functional set of bumper line chips. I used to have to tie the bumpers to my ski boat railings, now I can just clip this on and off. The clips do offer the ability to adjust the height of your bumpers easily. However they don’t clip in place and do slide along the rail. Not a deal breaker, but it is a minor inconvenience. The price is a little high at around $35.00, but they are a quality material that should hold up over time.

Just pull to the correct length and seat the rope and you are set.Cons:The polymer used in this product is quite rigid and the product cannot be adjusted for different size rails.In summary, read the product description carefully to ensure the product will fit your boat rails. It is intended for square pontoon rails.

OK... I've been a boater most of my life. I can tie off boat fenders with the best of them, but these clips eliminate the need for any knots. Period.We got a length of 3/8 dock line and made up lines for our four boat fenders. Now anyone on the boat, newbie or old salt, can easily attach the lines to the boat rails with ease... first time every time.This may not seem like a big deal until you need your fenders and need the right NOW. No knots... just clip the on the rails, and they are secure until you need to bring them in.They very easily adjust the lines and hold securely long or short, your call. Of all the little gizmos that are available for boats, these top my list for suitability and ease of use. A good find!

I got these because I have rails on the bow (no cleats) and end up tying my fenders on the rail which is somewhat inconvenient. I saw these and thought they'd solve the problem, but I was disappointed when they arrived to find that they are hard plastic and spin/slide freely on the rail. This is by no means ideal. The dock line routes through the clip with no problem but the to keep the fender at the correct height, the directions say to put a knot in the line; there's a friction hook on the product, but it doesn't work. Save your money, find a different product! I got these on Vine to provide an honest review; had I purchased them, they'd be going back.

When boating, you will often have non-boaters as guests. A lot of times, you need to have them help you when approaching a dock. These handy clips serve that purpose where your dock approach can be much less stressful. Getting those fenders adjusted to the right height with these is easy and skill free. For those that may criticize that they slide on the rail, etc. I see that. But I do not see using these for unattended long term mooring. If you choose to use them as such, a couple loops around the hanging rope and rail would secure the clip just fine.

This product is exactly as described. They are very easy to use. As a boater who is not entirely adept at tying knots (to my husband's great dismay!), these are life savers and should perhaps be relabeled as "marriage savers"! I can get the fenders out so much more quickly using these and it makes adjusting the height of your fenders so much easier. I only wish I'd found them years ago! Get these! You need them!!!

These are not perfect for my use as they need rails to clip to and I only have rails at the bow of my 26 foot bowrider. I may find places to clip to on the sides but I don't think so and my cleats are not in the right spots for this. I know these will be good for a boat with a long rail. Your helpers will not have to learn to tie knots to use these and they are easy to adjust for height.
