Worked really good the only problem that I had. When I put the front tire on. It was to heavy. It stabilized when I put the back tire on. The blue cushions on it slid off and scratched my bike. Make sure you don’t do a lot of moving from weight from front to back. It seems good otherwise

The stand it's self is very sturdy, but I found no matter how much I tightened the arm that holds the bike it just twisted round even with a child's bike

Too be fair I thought it was going to be cheaply made for the money but I was wrong it actually a very sturdy piece of kit and strong and looks smart

This stand worked fine for the first 60 days, although the plastic started showing stress immediately. Today I was working on my bike and one of the lower support brackets holding the legs snapped without warning in the middle of a derailleur adjustment, sending my bike crashing to the ground in front of me further breaking the plastic top off the stand and screwing up my handlebar wrap. If I would have had carbon bars they would have snapped. If I was crouched in front of my bike it would have fell on top of me and possibly injured me. I wondered why this bike repair stand was so cheap and now I know. Into the garbage it goes.I only wish it had failed within my return window because then I wouldn't be out $50 PLUS the damage to my bike. This is absolute and total trash.

If there were such a thing as a Price-To-Performance curve, this bike maintenance stand would be at the peak! It arrived on time and well packaged. It only took a few minutes to assemble. It's has numerous adjustments and yet is amazing stable. I can put my 29 pound vintage steel bike on it and do just about anything I need to do without any worry about slippage or tipping over. I think this is a good buy for anyone who does casual bike maintenance and repair. The stability can be attributed to its very wide leg span. Additionally, the large oval feet can be screwed to the floor, if you want to do so. But I much prefer the ability to fold it up when not in use. It's a bit heavy, but that contributes to its stability. The adjustments include height, distance from the stand's post to the bike, and the orientation of the clamp that holds the bike. All of the adjustment points are tightened/loosened with large plastic knobs that are sturdy and easy to grip. The clamp that holds the bike is also adjusted with such a knob. Additionally, the clamp is made such that cabling on the bike's top tube naturally rides in a groove so as not to be pinched. And, there's an attachment to capture and stabilize the bike's front wheel/handlebars while the bike is on the stand - a great feature!I'm totally satisfied with this maintenance stand and would recommend it to any bike owner who does their own maintenance and repair.

This bike repair stand is great. It holds my 29 Lb mountain bike with ease and I have moved it around and washed my bike on it a few times. I don't have the legs extended all the way to save space, and it is still very balanced when sitting on the carpet. The only thing is that the instructions are really hard to follow. I ended up just using trial and error until it seemed like all of the bolts and knobs were in the right place. Overall, it works great for the price and for what I use it for.

The repair stand was easy to assemble and, having already used it for my road bike, I can say it is quite stable. Virtually all the fittings are plastic so I believe one has to be careful when tightening the various parts. The clamp is designed primarily to be used on the horizontal bar, not the seat post. I confirmed that with Flexzion. Personally, I’d like to see the clamp a bit smaller do it could be used on seat posts which, to me, is more advantageous when cleaning and not worrying about external cables that may run in the underside of the horizontal bar. This isn’t an issue with my bike. It also collapses nicely and can be easily dismantled if necessary for travel.Overall, I’m satisfied so far, and believe it is a good stand for its price point.

Pros:Easy to set up.Easy brake down.Basically like a camera tripod. This stand is sturdy/strong enough to “hold” my medium size Stumpjumper 29er. But that’s about it.Cons:The joints are made of plastic. The clamp portion is more plastic with a big trun knob bolt that is used to tighten, with a wing nut on the other end, it spin while trying to make the clamp tight, so you need to hold your bike, the knob, the wing nut to tighten. The extension arm the passes through the vertical part can flex, so the bike really isn’t straight out from the stand. Just barely enough room to spin the Crankset.Recommended only if your a weekend warrior wash the bike off, maybe work on little things kind of person then this is for you. I think if used every day the plastic will crack over all the stress.

You cannot get a better deal! The price is outstanding, and the quality is really good. My road bike is no challenge as it's carbon, but I didn't know how it would handle my heavy full sus mountain bike. The verdict? Quite well. I had to move the to attend in closer to the center of the stand, but I can still pedal the drive train without hitting. You may not need to do this, but I didn't like the top arm bending down as much as it was.I was skeptical but to the price, but the reviews sold me. This is a great stand! Spend the money!

July 4, 2017 edit **looks like the week after I bought it, the price has shot up from $39, to $79...Not even close to worth that much**As long as you know what to expect, this is a good repair stand. I have looked at everything from this stand to the $150 units that my local bike shop sells (and available here on Amazon) and everything in between. I really wanted the $150 unit as it was very sturdy and really held the bike nicely in any position as I tested it out at the bike shop. I just couldn't justify $150 for stand I wouldn't use that often. So just know, this stand is a $40 stand and that is exactly what you are getting. It's not as sturdy as the nicer ones but unless you are doing commercial work or working on your bike daily, then this stand is just fine. I might use the stand once every week or two to lube the chain and clean the bike and for that, this is just fine. It feels as though if this stand was used frequently, it would probably hit it's life span quickly. The tightening screws feel like they might snap or break if I try to get that last bit of tightness out of them. Not a knock on the stand since I didn't expect much more for $40. I'm satisfied with the purchase as I had no delusions that I should have been receiving $150 stand quality for $40.
