Avid freeze dryer here and I have ran my poor bag sealer ragged. I did measure the length and figured the band was the same width and I didn't measure it - my bad. This fits perfectly but is about half the width of the original one that came with the sealer. We did use the cover with the old band and I ordered the correct size but it is so much more expensive. I am keeping this because in a pinch I think they will seal just fine. After the expense and time of preparing the foods I don't want to risk not using the wider band.The reason I didn't give this a five is the cover doesn't feel like teflon so I am not sure how durable it will be.

Impulse sealers are so handy to have if you do craft shows or bake sales. So much easier & quicker way to seal cellophane bags. But if that thin little heat seal metal strip breaks, you are out of business until you replace it. It pays to keep replacements on hand. .I was happy to see this 10-pack of metal strips and heat resistant fabric strips. They seem to be good quality, and the price point was very reasonable.

I don’t need to replace my heating rod or tape yet but when I do, this set will be perfect. It’s the length that I need, fits perfectly and everything is contained in a small plastic bag to protect from dust. There’s not a lot to this product but when you need a replacement, it’s going to do the job well. It comes with several sets so that you always have one on hand.

Item didn't fit, Amazon said to pack in original packaging for return. Problem is that they shipped in a one time use envelope. So I'm stuck with it.

This is a good price for what you get. You will need to purchase PTFE Tape/Teflon Tape to be used under the heating element to prevent grounding on the Sealer unit.
