We bought a lily pad at a warehouse store a couple of years ago. It came with a metal grommet that was loose and the kids lost in the lake. We initially tried tieing a rope through the hole, but the rope was starting to tear through the mat with the kids playing and pulling. This was a perfect replacement.

I bought to replace the tether on our Lily Pad since ours had broken. I am a big fan of the metal clip on this one vs. the plastic one on our original tether. This tether is high quality and works perfect as a replacement.

The straps are sturdy but one strap is a foot shorter than the other and would not wrap around mat.
