So far this seems to work exactly as advertised. The only thing I don’t like about it (which came as no surprise because it is accurately described), is that it is not solar powered. But there is really no room for a solar panel. It is rechargeable with a USB-C plug (USB-A to USB-C cable provided). The lights are not quite bright enough, IMHO. But I wouldn’t say that everyone agrees on this. It is a subtle decoration that does not dominate your attention, which to me is a good thing.. It has a weighted anchor that allows you to position it so that it does not drift around too much. This is a nice feature, since, if you let it drift over to the side, it could sit there and steadily spray water out of your pool/pond/birdbath/whatever. Follow the directions to get it started. It has to be completely submerged to prime the pump. When the bubbles stop, you can bring it back to the surface to operate.

This looks and works great. The problem is that it only keeps the charge for about four hours. I wish it was solar.

If you can't or don't want to add a permanent water feature to your pool, this is a fun alternative. The fountain is small in size so if you have a smaller pool as we do, it won't take up much space. It is rechargeable (charge cord included) which is both good and bad. Having to charge it will probably deter us sometimes from using it just because it is an inconvenience. Solar power in my opinion would have been a superior feature.The fountain itself it really neat and peaceful. The water spraying is not overly powerful or loud. You could turn it on and lay under it if you wanted to. We have a fountain and water features in our pool that are far too intense for me to want to be under them. I usually won't put them on when I am in the pool. The colors are pretty and calming at night. They are not overly bright. You can stil enjoy a peaceful swim. There is a button on top for the fountain and one for the lights. There is also an anchor included that you could choose to use if you want it floating around in the pool.

This was so easy to use and made the pool a little more fun. I like that it comes with an anchor so it stays still, or you can let it float around and enjoy the sound of the fountain. The light features are great at night.

So we were invited to this kids/adults pool party at a friend's house for their pool inauguration party. As a theme appropriate gift I got this light up pool fountain for them. It was a hit, not only in the evening when it was lighting up the pool nicely with the different colors and the fountain, but also during the day when the kids all swim around under the fountain.This certainly adds a nice touch and some fun to any pool. I can speak for how long it will run on a charge. I had made sure to charge it up before gifting it just to make sure everyone could enjoy it the day of the party. I know it was still running later in the evening when we left, so it definitely keeps going for a while.Some folks also commented that having a pool fountain will keep insects away, but I can't vouch for that.

This is fun to have in our pool. Lights can be set in several different color-changing modes (red, green, blue). The fast blink is a bit too much for me. We love the slow fade color change, but when that cycle is done, it starts fast blinking. There is a QR code to learn more about the color changing - seems like a bit too much. The anchor can be used a few different ways and is a good weight. It turns off after 2 hours. The fountain height is about max 3.5 ft, but seems to go up and down when the color modes change automatically. Made well as far as waterproofing and ability to float. I won't leave it out in the sun too long or store it in the sun because the plastic feels acrylic and could yellow or crack - I use it at night. Easy to operate, but all the color modes are excessive in my opinion. The pump can be heard, but is fairly quiet. Would give this 4 or 5 starts if it were less expensive.
