We bought these for a project we're working on. We have some raw edge 2" thick shelved and 4 of these across hold that shelf so sturdy. Did not notice any bending. Plus they match the cabinet hardware.

The brackets are easy to install, include all of the hardware needed, are a true gold color. They are much more heavy duty than what is portrayed in the picture.
