I got this Flo-Torq Mercury Prop Hub Kit because I have a few Mercury props for my boat, and I wanted a spare hub to keep onboard in case I spin one while out on the water. I might be over-prepared, considering I already have a spare prop with a hub onboard, but better safe than sorry! This kit includes all the necessary parts, and they appear to be of good quality. The rubber drive sleeve adapter is probably the most crucial component. It needs to be soft enough to cushion shifts yet strong enough to handle minor bumps, while also being designed to spin and prevent damage during serious impacts. It’s hard to verify its performance without using it, but it looks like it should do the job. The only downside is that I would have preferred a lock ring instead of the tabbed lock washer that comes with the kit. I'm sure it works fine, but a lock ring is just my personal preference. Overall, the price is great—at $23.99, it’s a fraction of the cost of an OEM hub.
