The mold was actually bigger than I thought once I received it! Very nice quality and my candle turned out perfect. I am happy with the purchase.

This is my favorite candle mold. It is very easy to use, the pour is simple and removal is easy without disturbing the details. Once removed it is an absolutely beautiful candle.

This is a beautiful mold. I’m using this for candles, and haven’t had any problems unmolding them. (I use mostly beeswax, plus some soy, so they are pretty firm.) Around 30 minutes after pouring the candle, when the wax looks solid, I very gently pull the edge away. I use one finger, and work my way around the mold while keeping it flat; it helps to loosen the mold from the candle while the wax is semi-firm. I wait several hours to fully unmold them.It is true the mold doesn’t come with instructions, but there is a video in the picture area that is quite helpful, plus written instructions if you scroll down a ways to read about the product. It recommends using 1:1 soy and beeswax, and explains how to wick them. I had a problem wicking the first candle I made because the pointy end of the bamboo is too narrow to pass a wick thru. I cut off the pointy tip and was able to pass a wick without any issue.I haven’t actually burned the candles yet because I need to make a lot to determine the proper wick to use; to me, the hardest part of making beeswax candles is getting the wick right.

Used this to make soap and the final result looks just like the advertised picture! First try I had some difficulty and some of the top delicate soap petals broke off during mold removal. I recommend pouring the soap and letting it set in the freezer, when solid stretch out the mold as much as possible upside down to gently remove!
