The tip has a double wall construction and an angle-cut end with the Flowmaster logo embossed into it. This tip is a clamp-on design that has a 3.50" diameter and will fit over a 2.50" pipe. I have been a fan of Flowmaster exhaust products my whole life. I put them on everything from Mustangs to Silverado's, and even most recently a 4runner so I was very disappointed to see how poorly this expensive exhaust tip was finished. I obviously knew it was expensive when I made the purchase, but I figured it was worth it to know the black ceramic coating would last for years. instead I found out that the coating didn't even make it out of the manufacturing facility in tact "maybe it was just a bad part?". It looked like someone took a rattle can to it before placing it in the box, missing spots along the way. I was able to return this item to Amazon with no hassles. For those interested, this item does fit perfectly over 2.5" O.D. exhaust pipe. You can't tell in the pictures, but the back of the wider portion of the tip does not taper down to the 2.5" of the pipe you are installing it on, which kinda makes it look you stuck a Maxwell House can on the tip of your Exhaust. At the very least they should provide you with a side view of this product so you know exactly how goofy it is going to look.
