Kit arrived on time and in good shape. Instructions were very good and like most it would have been a pretty clean and straightforward install until I got to the tailpipe fitment. The 2 outlets on the muffler were too small for the pipe supplied. 2 hours with a die grinder trying to increase the diameter and polishing and barely got pipe to get close to the cut outs. I had to torch the outlets to get the pipe to the very last cut out.In the pic you can see the pipe rubbing on inside in equally spaced binding points.

Second FLOWMASTER Exhaust on my Truck, replaced a non-stainless kit installed 7 years ago. I must say that this kit is Quality. The band clamps are a great choice and are a cinch to tighten up with an 18V impact wrench. AS with the first kit, it went on easily and more time was spent removing the previous exhaust than installing the new one. Would be a nice touch to include a second "Y" pipe extension pre-cut for 139 WB trucks but that is a small detail. American Thunder 10" muffler sounds low and powerful, I am happy. I must add one thing after 155 miles or so... Gas mileage improved by 1 - 2 mpg. Significant on a truck that got 13 mpg. that's over 30+ miles per fillup. Also there is a noticeable improvement of low end torque 1500 - 1900 rpm which was unexpected. A small but welcome difference when pulling hills in Overdrive lock-up mode.

It is not as loud as I thought it would be. The passenger rear hanger didn't fit well tail pipe hits bumper.For being said as a aggressive sound. My 02' Mustang had Flowmaster and was a lot louder

The bracket for the second tail pipe does not match the OEM bracket for the original tail pipe, causing it to hang MUCH lower than the OEM side. You will have to cut and weld if you want the 2 tail pipes to match.

Assembly and instructions were great... HOWEVER I'M BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED! EXHAUST TONE IS MEDIOCRE! I replaced a magnaflow setup that was $400 cheaper and basically rotting off of my truck, not stainless, not mandrel bent and smaller pipes..... GUESS WHAT? THE SOUND IS ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME. It's advertised as aggressive tone and it is far from it. Now three months after having it the whole kit including the polished tips are showing signs of surface rust. Go figure
