Q: Why does the pipe get smaller at the weld?

A: This is a manual welding process, the product becomes stronger, not easy to leak gas, will not affect the use of the product.

Q: Why might there be some ash inside the product?

A: This is left by the shot blasting process. It can effectively remove the oxidized layer, corrosion and dirt on the metal surface, which can not only effectively improve the quality of the product surface, but also improve the service life of the product. Cleaning it out is fine.

Bolt holes don't line up at all. You'll have to fight the whole thing to even get it to line up. Had to cut and re weld for it to work

This pipe was a perfect fit. Took 5-10 minutes to install. Sounds great. Packing has not come out like haters said. This is identical to the OEM pipe except for the fine labeling you do not see when installed anyways. Have not doubt, this is a good deal, a good pipe and gave a well loved PW50 a new life for the grandkids. Thank you.

The packing blew out the first ride and clogged the exhaust. Spent 2 hours cleaning it out then it was fine but the exhaust is loud now.

The packing inside the exhaust blew around and plugged up the exhaust after 2 rides. Then the bike would just bog out and die. Not well built.

Buyer beware. This is a cheaply built exhaust. After installing, and starting my sons bike it was a matter of 3-4 minutes and all the fiberglass packing inside came lose and plugged the exhaust. It didn’t last long enough to even get ridden. Do yourself a favor, buck up, and buy oem parts.
